Larimar & Swiss Blue Topaz Pendant Necklace // READY TO SHIP
This larimar and swiss blue topaz pendant necklace is truly an eye-catching statement piece. It is a relatively heavy piece, as the larimar cabochon is quite large and it is backed by solid sterling silver. As you can see in the photo of the side profile, the larimar has a very tall dome compared to most cabochons. It is a gorgeous creamy sky blue pattern that has hints of mossy green peeking out of the silver bezel. The faceted swiss blue topaz, one of December's birthstones, sets off the bright sky blue in the larimar perfectly.
Larimar is a rare stone, as it is only mined exclusively in the Dominican Republic, around the city of Barahona. Natural topaz usually comes out of the ground fairly translucent/colorless. Both swiss blue topaz and london blue topaz are treated/irradiated to produce their signature colors.
Lovingly created in my studio in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Stones: Larimar cabochon measuring approximately 24x34mm and a 5mm round faceted swiss blue topaz gemstone.
Size: The pendant is roughly 2 inches long (including the bail) by 1.15 inches wide and hangs on a 20" sterling silver rolo chain.
Material: Sterling silver (.925) with fine silver (.999)

To keep your jewelry looking like new, take that extra second to remove it before cleaning, bathing, swimming, or any activity that would cause excess wear and tear. Avoid exposing your jewelry to perfumes, lotions, soaps and other liquids, as well as extreme heat.
If your jewelry becomes dirty, clean with a soft cloth or soft tooth brush and a mild soap if necessary (I use Dawn), or polish with a silver polishing cloth. Please note that polishing cloths are infused with an abrasive and will remove intentional patina along with the unwanted tarnish, so take care not to accidentally polish off the patina!
Finally, as a best practice, store your jewelry in a cool, dry place with your complimentary anti-tarnish tab.
