Dainty and versatile, these black onyx earrings are named for the vampire, Jasper. They are the perfect everyday earring and can pair with any sort of outfit!
Jasper Hale is one of the members of the sparkly vampire family from the Twilight series. He is supernaturally empathic, and his vampire ability helps him manipulate people’s emotions. I think it is therefore fitting to name these black onyx earrings for him, since black onyx allegedly wards against and absorbs negative vibes!

-=About Black Onyx=-
Black onyx has been used as a talisman of protection and focus by many cultures for centuries. Onyx is named for the Greek word onux for "fingernail" or "claw" and is the birthstone of Leos. Some believe onyx can absorb negative energy to protect the wearer from ill intentions. According to folklore, Cleopatra would wear black onyx jewelry to alert her to nearby danger. It is also believed that onyx holds memories, and can assist the wearer by providing focus and stamina to navigate difficult times or decisions.
These stud earrings are made to order. Please allow 1-2 weeks for me to make them before shipping.
Your earrings will be lovingly packed in a jewelry gift box inside a sturdy cardboard shipping box. I include an anti-tarnish strip that can be stored with the jewelry to help prevent tarnish as well as a complimentary polishing cloth to keep your jewels in top shape.
Orders over $100 are eligible to ship for free via USPS First Class Mail. Expedited shipping is available (price calculates at checkout). All packages will be insured for the full value. If you have any questions, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org
To keep your jewelry looking like new, take that extra second to remove it before cleaning, bathing, swimming, or any activity that would cause excess wear and tear. Avoid exposing your jewelry to perfumes, lotions, soaps and other liquids, as well as extreme heat.
If your jewelry becomes dirty, clean with a soft cloth or soft tooth brush and a mild soap if necessary (I use Dawn), or polish with a silver polishing cloth. Please note that polishing cloths are infused with an abrasive and will remove intentional patina along with the unwanted tarnish, so take care not to accidentally polish off the patina!
Finally, as a best practice, store your jewelry in a cool, dry place with your complimentary anti-tarnish tab.
