Garnet Crescent Moon Earrings - "Elena" // MADE TO ORDER
-=ELENA GARNET EARRINGS=-
These garnet earrings are named for Elena Gilbert of the Vampire Diaries series. The dainty crescent moon earrings reminded me of her because of the more modern appearance than other items in the vampire jewelry collection. They are sleek and very shiny!
Elena is a human teenager-turned-vampire that became involved with the vampire Salvatore brothers, Damon and Stefan. She is a doppleganger of Amara, the first female vampire, which makes her blood have some major supernatural mojo.
Stone: Two 6mm round rosecut Mozambique garnet
Size: Crescent moons are about 5/8" inch diameter (about 16mm). Total length of the moon earring is about 1.25" inches.
Material: Sterling Silver (.925), including the hoop earrings.
Misc: Earring backs are dainty enclosed hoops that click shut.
Garnets are one of the oldest known gemstones and is the January birthstone. It was believed that garnets could shield the wearer from harm and warriors would wear garnets into battle as protective talismans. Garnets were also traditionally associated with love, blood, and one's life force - garnet jewelry is perfect for vampires!
These earrings are made to order. Please allow 1-2 weeks for me to make them before shipping.
Your earrings will be lovingly packed in a jewelry gift box inside a sturdy cardboard shipping box. I include an anti-tarnish strip that can be stored with the jewelry to help prevent tarnish as well as a complimentary polishing cloth to keep your jewels in top shape.
Orders over $100 are eligible to ship for free via USPS First Class Mail. Expedited shipping is available (price calculates at checkout). All packages will be insured for the full value. If you have any questions, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org
To keep your jewelry looking like new, take that extra second to remove it before cleaning, bathing, swimming, or any activity that would cause excess wear and tear. Avoid exposing your jewelry to perfumes, lotions, soaps and other liquids, as well as extreme heat.
If your jewelry becomes dirty, clean with a soft cloth or soft tooth brush and a mild soap if necessary (I use Dawn), or polish with a silver polishing cloth. Please note that polishing cloths are infused with an abrasive and will remove intentional patina along with the unwanted tarnish, so take care not to accidentally polish off the patina!
Finally, as a best practice, store your jewelry in a cool, dry place with your complimentary anti-tarnish tab.
