I've been making jewelry since I was a kid. I've always been enamored by magic and the mystical, by elves and fairies and vampires and witches, by sorceress queens and shield maidens, and by the romantic beauty found in fantasy. I would stay up until the late hours of a school night constructing a beaded chainmail headpiece that looked like it was straight out of Lord of the Rings. I wanted to express my individuality through my love of magic and fantasy. I wanted to feel like I could channel the elegance of a woodland elf, or the cool gothic style of a victorian vampire. Channeling these magical beings through my jewelry made me feel creative and unique. To others I may just be wearing a garnet ring, but in my mind it is the talisman of a warrior queen, and when I'm wearing it I can conquer any task in my path, whether it is conquering nations or making a presentation at the office. I may be grown now, but I still find joy in these things - and now I'm old enough to play with fire in my studio!
- Does jewelry hold more meaning to you than just fast fashion?
- Do you like to add a handcrafted, unique statement piece to your outfit?
- Do you choose jewelry to wear based on how it makes you feel, whether it be an elegant magical being, or a badass warrior queen?
- Do you try to surround yourself with little bits of magic in a mundane world?
You are in the right place!
I create jewelry for creative souls. Those of us that try and hold onto magic in their everyday lives. The ones that want unique jewelry to express their individuality.
Who am I?
Hi, I'm Erin! I am the person behind the curtain running this little nook of the internet. I hand fabricate all the jewelry on this site using the ancient art of metalsmithing. I collect (hoard) all the gemstones used in my jewelry and take care to try and make sure they come from ethical sources. I am involved in every step of the process from design to creation to photography to packaging and shipping and do my very best to provide exceptional customer service.
I've been a maker from a very young age and have dabbled in various Etsy ventures along the way until I settled on smithing as a creative outlet. During the day I work in software and have my bachelor's in Computer Science.
I am a Louisiana girl currently living the mountain life in Fort Collins, Colorado with my two cats (see my instagram for gratuitous cat pictures). In my spare time I enjoy watching Netflix and sports (New Orleans Saints and LSU!), hiking, fishing, camping, knitting, traveling (when not in a pandemic), reading, and I am a huge nerdy fandom person and love attending comic cons. I love Marvel, Star Wars, Supernatural, Doctor Who, Firefly, and Outlander, for starters.
