Sterling Silver Gothic Scrollwork Earrings – Victorian Ornate Dangle Design
These sterling silver earrings carry a quiet gothic elegance — ornate, architectural, and rooted in traditional metalwork rather than trends. The scrolling form feels inspired by old iron balconies and cathedral ornamentation, balanced with enough restraint to make them easy to wear every day.
Each earring is hand-pressed from a reproduction antique impression die, capturing deep relief and sculptural detail that simply isn’t possible with modern mass production. The raised scrollwork catches light softly as it moves, while oxidation is left in the recesses to emphasize every curve and shadow.
They feel timeless rather than theatrical — the kind of gothic jewelry that works just as well with a black sweater as it does with a velvet dress.

This pattern is pressed from a reproduction antique jewelry die, preserving the depth and complexity of historic metalwork techniques. Each piece is finished by hand, giving the earrings subtle variations and a sense of individuality you won’t find in cast, mass-produced jewelry.
✦ Care Instructions
Sterling silver may naturally oxidize over time. Store in a dry place when not worn and polish gently with a silver cloth to restore brightness while preserving the recessed details.

Your handcrafted jewelry will be lovingly packed in a gift box inside a sturdy cardboard shipping box. I include an anti-tarnish strip that can be stored with the jewelry to help prevent tarnish as well as a complimentary polishing cloth to keep your jewels in top shape.
Orders over $100 are eligible to ship for free via USPS First Class Mail.

To keep your silver jewelry looking like new, take that extra second to remove it before cleaning, bathing, swimming, or any activity that would cause excess wear and tear. Avoid exposing your jewelry to perfumes, lotions, soaps and other liquids, as well as extreme heat.
If your jewelry becomes dirty, clean with a soft cloth or soft tooth brush and a mild soap if necessary (I use Dawn), or polish with a silver polishing cloth.
Please note that polishing cloths are infused with an abrasive and will remove intentional patina along with the unwanted tarnish, so take
care not to accidentally polish off the patina!
Finally, as a best practice, store your jewelry in a cool, dry place with your complimentary anti-tarnish tab.
