One-of-a-kind Royston Ribbon turquoise earrings featuring natural Nevada turquoise with striking ribbon veins set in hand-fabricated sterling silver.
These Royston Ribbon turquoise drop earrings blend classic lines with earthy elegance. Each stone is naturally one-of-a-kind, with vivid turquoise veins flowing through creamy golden host rock — the distinctive ribbon pattern that makes Royston turquoise so recognizable.
Set in sterling silver and finished with a hand-pressed drop detail, the earrings have gentle movement and a refined silhouette. I love how they catch the light without feeling too bold — elegant, but still full of that organic, desert-born character that makes Royston Ribbon turquoise so loved.
The silver is oxidized and finished with a soft satin brush, giving the metal a subtle glow that complements the natural tones of the stone. The posts sit comfortably on the ear, and each back is stamped with my Silverthaw maker’s mark for authenticity.
Handmade in Fort Collins, Colorado, these are effortless day-to-night earrings that pair beautifully with both casual and dressy looks.

✦ About Royston Ribbon Turquoise
Royston Ribbon turquoise comes from the historic Royston mining district in Nevada - known for turquoise with distinctive matrix patterns and vivid natural color variation.
“Ribbon” turquoise refers to the way bright turquoise veins form in narrow bands running through host rock. Instead of the stone forming as a solid turquoise mass, the mineral develops along seams and fractures, creating striking ribbons of blue and green set within golden or brown matrix.
Because the turquoise forms within the surrounding rock, each cabochon displays its own natural landscape of color and pattern. No two pieces are identical, which is why Royston Ribbon turquoise is especially valued by collectors and lapidaries.
The stones used in these earrings were mined in Nevada and have been stabilized to strengthen the natural turquoise while preserving its original color and pattern.

I do NOT accept returns for:
- Damage incurred with wear
- Improper jewelry care (see my Jewelry Care page for proper care instructions)
To keep your silver jewelry looking like new, take that extra second to remove it before cleaning, bathing, swimming, or any activity that would cause excess wear and tear. Avoid exposing your jewelry to perfumes, lotions, soaps and other liquids, as well as extreme heat.
If your jewelry becomes dirty, clean with a soft cloth or soft tooth brush and a mild soap if necessary (I use Dawn), or polish with a silver polishing cloth.
Please note that polishing cloths are infused with an abrasive and will remove intentional patina along with the unwanted tarnish, so take
care not to accidentally polish off the patina!
Finally, as a best practice, store your jewelry in a cool, dry place with your complimentary anti-tarnish tab.
