I've had my eye on pairing purple and turquoise for a while — they're the two accent colors running through my branding, so when I found these Blackjack stones I knew exactly what they needed. Rose cut amethyst. The purple just ignites against the dark stone in a way that felt inevitable.
The turquoise teardrops are roughly 17x30mm — substantial stones with that signature Blackjack drama: bright teal fracturing through near-black host rock with warm iron-gold running through the matrix. Each stone is set in fine silver, surrounded by a handmade sterling silver frame I textured by hand with burrs. Fine silver pebbles accent the base of each stone, flanking the 5mm rose cut amethyst. The back of each earring carries an intricate pressed pattern — a hidden detail you'd only find on something handmade. The whole frame is blackened and finished with a satin polish that lets the texture breathe.
These one-of-a-kind amethyst drop earrings measure approximately 7/8" wide and hang about 1.6" — just over 2.2" total including the ear wire. Made in my Fort Collins, Colorado studio. Ready to ship.

To keep your silver jewelry looking like new, take that extra second to remove it before cleaning, bathing, swimming, or any activity that would cause excess wear and tear. Avoid exposing your jewelry to perfumes, lotions, soaps and other liquids, as well as extreme heat.
If your jewelry becomes dirty, clean with a soft cloth or soft tooth brush and a mild soap if necessary (I use Dawn), or polish with a silver polishing cloth.
Please note that polishing cloths are infused with an abrasive and will remove intentional patina along with the unwanted tarnish, so take
care not to accidentally polish off the patina!
Finally, as a best practice, store your jewelry in a cool, dry place with your complimentary anti-tarnish tab.
