Which dragon chooses you?
Some bonds are forged to endure any distance.
The Dragon Talisman is an ancient artifact representing the bond between dragon and rider - a token carried when a rider cannot have their companion at their side.
Each medallion is individually fabricated from sterling silver and bears a dragon emerging in sculptural relief from a weathered, timeworn surface. Beside it rests a natural gemstone chosen to represent your dragon's coloring.
Find the dragon that calls to you, then choose their color. Your talisman will be individually created for you in my Fort Collins, Colorado studio, with its own textures, markings and character. Like the creatures they represent, no two will be precisely alike.
The silver is intentionally distressed, textured and darkened to resemble an artifact with a history of its own - something that might have been carried through distant lands, passed between generations, or unearthed centuries after its rider was gone.

Masculine Dragon
A powerful profile with heavier features and a broad, angular silhouette.
Feminine Dragon
A more slender profile with finer features and an elegant, sweeping silhouette.
The designation refers only to the two dragon designs - you are welcome to choose whichever dragon speaks to you.
What's Their Color?
Black - Black Spinel
Faceted natural black spinel, deep black with flashes of reflected light.
Blue - Labradorite
Natural labradorite selected for blue flash, shifting as the stone moves through the light.
Red - Mozambique Garnet
Natural Mozambique garnet in a deep, dark red.
Green - Serpentine
Natural serpentine in earthy shades of dragon green.
Brown - Montana Agate
Natural Montana agate with translucent, smoky and earthen coloration. Each stone varies considerably, making every brown dragon especially individual.
Orange - Spessartine Garnet
Natural spessartine garnet glowing in fiery shades of amber, burnt orange and flame.

Please note: Each Dragon Talisman is individually hand-fabricated using an artisan impression die rather than cast or mass-produced. Natural gemstones vary in pattern, color and flash, while the texture and antiquing of each medallion will develop a character of its own. The photographs show examples of finished Dragon Talismans; the piece created for you will be uniquely yours.

Made to order. Please allow 3-5 business days for your talisman to be fabricated before shipping.

Avoid lotions, perfumes and prolonged water exposure. Polish silver gently with a soft cloth as needed. Polishing cloths will remove intentional patina, so take care not to over-polish.

Your handcrafted jewelry will be lovingly packed in a gift box inside a sturdy cardboard shipping box. I include an anti-tarnish strip that can be stored with the jewelry to help prevent tarnish as well as a complimentary polishing cloth to keep your jewels in top shape.
Orders over $100 are eligible to ship for free via USPS First Class Mail.

Jewelry may be returned for a refund in its original condition within 30 days of purchase, minus cost of shipping. Returns must include tracking.

I do NOT accept returns for:

- Improper jewelry care (see my Jewelry Care page for proper care instructions)
To keep your silver jewelry looking like new, take that extra second to remove it before cleaning, bathing, swimming, or any activity that would cause excess wear and tear. Avoid exposing your jewelry to perfumes, lotions, soaps and other liquids, as well as extreme heat.
If your jewelry becomes dirty, clean with a soft cloth or soft tooth brush and a mild soap if necessary (I use Dawn), or polish with a silver polishing cloth.
Please note that polishing cloths are infused with an abrasive and will remove intentional patina along with the unwanted tarnish, so take
care not to accidentally polish off the patina!
Finally, as a best practice, store your jewelry in a cool, dry place with your complimentary anti-tarnish tab.
