A large, cushion-shaped labradorite with flashes of electric blue, teal, gold, and purple, set in a handmade sterling silver ring. The wide, floral-patterned sterling silver band joins directly to the flat backplate beneath the stone, creating a slightly nontraditional interior shape rather than a perfectly round ring - the flat-backed style helps support a stone this size so it doesn't spin on the finger.
The stone displays a range of colors as it catches the light, with darker areas that make the stone's fire stand out. A simple bezel and silver frame keep the focus on the labradorite, while the wide band features an ornate floral scroll pattern with an antiqued finish.
The band is finished with smooth silver borders that frame the detailed pattern.

Labradorite is a feldspar gemstone known for its distinctive optical effect called labradorescence. As light moves across the stone, flashes of color appear beneath the surface, often in shades of blue, green, and gold.
Some specimens display a broader range of colors, including orange, pink, and purple. Each stone has its own unique pattern and combination of colors.

Labradorite should be treated with care to prevent scratches or chips. Avoid impacts, harsh chemicals, ultrasonic cleaners, and prolonged exposure to water.
Gently clean with a soft cloth, taking care around the gemstone and antiqued silver details. Remove before swimming, cleaning, or strenuous activities.

To keep your silver jewelry looking like new, take that extra second to remove it before cleaning, bathing, swimming, or any activity that would cause excess wear and tear. Avoid exposing your jewelry to perfumes, lotions, soaps and other liquids, as well as extreme heat.
If your jewelry becomes dirty, clean with a soft cloth or soft tooth brush and a mild soap if necessary (I use Dawn), or polish with a silver polishing cloth.
Please note that polishing cloths are infused with an abrasive and will remove intentional patina along with the unwanted tarnish, so take
care not to accidentally polish off the patina!
Finally, as a best practice, store your jewelry in a cool, dry place with your complimentary anti-tarnish tab.
