Blue Labradorite Gothic Pendant Necklace in Sterling Silver
This pendant carries a quiet, old-world drama — ornate, sculptural, and designed for those who love jewelry with a touch of gothic romance and restraint. It’s one of those rare pieces where the stone does most of the talking, and the metalwork exists to honor it.
At the center is a vivid blue labradorite with intense flashes of ocean blue, electric teal, and hints of gold along the edges. Subtle black striations run through the stone, grounding all that color and giving it the depth of stained glass in a gothic cathedral. No camera ever fully captures what labradorite does in motion — this one especially.
The stone is framed in an elaborate Victorian-inspired setting, entirely saw-pierced by hand. Gothic Revival flourishes create delicate negative space around the labradorite, finished with a fleur-de-lis detail at the top. Oxidation is left in the recesses to emphasize every curve and cut, while the raised surfaces are polished for contrast. The result feels antique without tipping into costume.

Labradorite is prized for its luminous flashes of color, known as labradorescence. Each stone reflects light differently, revealing blues, teals, and golds as it moves. This natural optical effect makes labradorite especially beloved by collectors who appreciate gemstones with depth, mystery, and character.

Labradorite is suitable for regular wear but should be treated gently. Remove before heavy lifting or impact. Clean silver with a soft polishing cloth and store separately to protect the stone and finish.

To keep your silver jewelry looking like new, take that extra second to remove it before cleaning, bathing, swimming, or any activity that would cause excess wear and tear. Avoid exposing your jewelry to perfumes, lotions, soaps and other liquids, as well as extreme heat.
If your jewelry becomes dirty, clean with a soft cloth or soft tooth brush and a mild soap if necessary (I use Dawn), or polish with a silver polishing cloth.
Please note that polishing cloths are infused with an abrasive and will remove intentional patina along with the unwanted tarnish, so take
care not to accidentally polish off the patina!
Finally, as a best practice, store your jewelry in a cool, dry place with your complimentary anti-tarnish tab.
