I was immediately captivated by these stunning White Buffalo stones with their striking black and white patterns that remind me of spooky midnight branches against a winter sky. These stones are so uniquely beautiful that I had to showcase them in these handcrafted sterling silver earrings.
Each stone is meticulously set in a sterling silver teardrop bezel that I've hand-fabricated from sheet silver. The dramatic contrast of the black veining against the white stone creates an elegant gothic aesthetic without being too overtly dark. There is a very subtle light golden streak running through the stones that is complimented nicely by the gold accents. The back of the earrings have a delicate swirl pattern for an extra touch. To add a touch of luxury and warmth, I've accented each earring with three 18k gold pebbles that catch the light beautifully as they move.
These statement earrings hang from sterling silver ear wires and measure approximately 1.75" in length from the top of the wire to the bottom of the setting. The White Buffalo stone itself measures about 0.75" long and 0.5" wide.
White Buffalo is a rare and striking material mined exclusively in Tonopah, Nevada. Despite often being called "turquoise" in the market, it's actually a calcite-based stone with a distinctive black and white contrast that creates dramatic patterns like those in these earrings. The striking combination of clean white stone with black veining makes each piece unique and highly sought after. The limited supply from a single mine location makes each piece a special treasure.

Your handcrafted jewelry will be lovingly packed in a gift box inside a sturdy cardboard shipping box. I include an anti-tarnish strip that can be stored with the jewelry to help prevent tarnish as well as a complimentary polishing cloth to keep your jewels in top shape.

To keep your silver jewelry looking like new, take that extra second to remove it before cleaning, bathing, swimming, or any activity that would cause excess wear and tear. Avoid exposing your jewelry to perfumes, lotions, soaps and other liquids, as well as extreme heat.
If your jewelry becomes dirty, clean with a soft cloth or soft tooth brush and a mild soap if necessary (I use Dawn), or polish with a silver polishing cloth.
Please note that polishing cloths are infused with an abrasive and will remove intentional patina along with the unwanted tarnish, so take
care not to accidentally polish off the patina!
Finally, as a best practice, store your jewelry in a cool, dry place with your complimentary anti-tarnish tab.
