This sterling silver owl ring features a genuine Blackjack turquoise cabochon, with rich blue-green coloring and natural matrix that beautifully complements the owl's intricate feather detailing.
The owl is pressed from a reproduction of an antique jewelry impression die, then carefully sawed out and incorporated into the ring’s design. The feather details and facial features are antiqued to bring out the texture, while the surrounding silver is polished to a bright finish.
The Blackjack turquoise is set in a handmade fine silver bezel, with a substantial sterling silver band that measures approximately 4.5 mm wide at the back.

Turquoise is a relatively soft, porous gemstone and should be treated with care. Avoid prolonged exposure to water, lotions, perfumes, oils, and harsh chemicals. Remove before swimming, cleaning, or strenuous activities.
Gently clean the silver with a soft polishing cloth, taking care around the antiqued details. Avoid silver dips and ultrasonic cleaners.

To keep your silver jewelry looking like new, take that extra second to remove it before cleaning, bathing, swimming, or any activity that would cause excess wear and tear. Avoid exposing your jewelry to perfumes, lotions, soaps and other liquids, as well as extreme heat.
If your jewelry becomes dirty, clean with a soft cloth or soft tooth brush and a mild soap if necessary (I use Dawn), or polish with a silver polishing cloth.
Please note that polishing cloths are infused with an abrasive and will remove intentional patina along with the unwanted tarnish, so take
care not to accidentally polish off the patina!
Finally, as a best practice, store your jewelry in a cool, dry place with your complimentary anti-tarnish tab.
