This sterling silver ring features two intricately detailed gryphons guarding a 5mm rose-cut gemstone of your choice, surrounded by elaborate scrollwork drawn from a late-19th-century French jewelry design.
The ring is created using a reproduction of an antique gothic style jewelry impression die from Paris, France dating to the late 1800s. These dies were originally hand carved and used by jewelers to press intricate designs into precious metals, allowing elaborate details to be reproduced with remarkable precision. The paired gryphons, with their finely detailed wings and ornate flourishes, reflect the fascination with mythology and historical ornamentation found in jewelry of the period.
Each ring is individually pressed in sterling silver, carefully formed, and fitted with a bezel-set gemstone of your choice. The details are antiqued to bring out the intricate design, while the raised silver is polished to a bright finish.

Gently clean with a soft jewelry polishing cloth, taking care around the gemstone and antiqued details. Avoid harsh chemicals, commercial silver dips, and ultrasonic cleaners.
Remove before swimming, cleaning, or strenuous activities to protect the gemstone and silver finish.

Your handcrafted jewelry will be lovingly packed in a gift box inside a sturdy cardboard shipping box. I include an anti-tarnish strip that can be stored with the jewelry to help prevent tarnish as well as a complimentary polishing cloth to keep your jewels in top shape.

To keep your silver jewelry looking like new, take that extra second to remove it before cleaning, bathing, swimming, or any activity that would cause excess wear and tear. Avoid exposing your jewelry to perfumes, lotions, soaps and other liquids, as well as extreme heat.
If your jewelry becomes dirty, clean with a soft cloth or soft tooth brush and a mild soap if necessary (I use Dawn), or polish with a silver polishing cloth.
Please note that polishing cloths are infused with an abrasive and will remove intentional patina along with the unwanted tarnish, so take
care not to accidentally polish off the patina!
Finally, as a best practice, store your jewelry in a cool, dry place with your complimentary anti-tarnish tab.
